Children & adults with disabilities and their families can benefit from the SCL, Michelle P., & EPSDT Medicaid waiver programs. In the Winchester/Lexington area, interested individuals and/or their family should contact New Vista in Lexington at (859) 233-0444 in order to request an eligibility screening. There is currently an almost 7 year waiting list for SCL & Michelle P. Waiver spots. It's crucial you get on the waiting list ASAP.
Once he or she is approved for waiver services, you will be contacted by New Vista and the process of of getting services can begin. You can choose a case manager. STRIDE does not provide case management services.
STRIDE offers the following services for adults: speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, an adult day program, and occasionally respite. We offer the following services for children: speech therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy.
